BIOGRAPHY

He has been engaged in the research and development of inorganic functional materials for a
long time. He has successively taken charge in over more than 20 important scientific research
projects such as national 973, 863 and key R & D programs. He has published more than 200
papers, and obtained more than 60 patents at home and abroad. He has won three first-class and
three second-class Ministerial Science and Technology Awards.


In recent years, he mainly focuses on the research and development of LED phosphors and
nickel based cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. The research results of LED phosphors
have been industrialized in Grirem Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. At present, there are more than
200 domestic and foreign customers, and the cumulative output value of the products has
exceeded 6 billion yuan. Through the radiation of the achievements, the localization rate of LED
phosphors has been increased from less than 5% to 80%, which ensures the healthy and
sustainable development of China's LED lighting industry. The research results of nickel based
cathode materials have been industrialized in HD Glabat Battery Materials Co., Ltd., through
patent implementation license. Through three-phase construction, the annual production capacity
of 50000 tons of high-end cathode materials will be formed (the first phase construction has been
completed), and the annual output value will be about 10 billion yuan, so as to ensure the healthy
and sustainable development of China's new energy automobile industry.


In 2003, he was selected as "outstanding young expert" of central enterprises; in 2004, he was
selected as "national level candidates for the new century million talents project"; in 2008, he was
awarded the special allowance of the State Council; in 2014, he was selected as the "young and
middle-aged scientific and technological innovation leader" of the Ministry of science and
technology; in 2016, he was selected as the leader of scientific and technological innovation of the
national.
